Georgia’s Cole Spear blocked a punt from Blake Doud in the first quarter, setting up a one-yard touchdown pass from Gunner Stockton to give Georgia a lead it would not relinquish. The Bulldogs topped Alabama 28-7 in the SEC title game for a second-straight SEC Championship.

Alabama football entered Saturday’s matchup with Georgia already down a few players. The Crimson Tide lost two more over the course of the game, with linebacker Justin Jefferson and cornerback Zabien Brown both leaving with injuries.
